I am a Registered Dietitian who offers support to families in Ontario and the East Coast. As a mother of three young boys, I understand the many challenges of feeding. I draw from my experience working in homecare in the feeding therapy world supporting families and their children from birth (NICU grads) to middle school ages in addition to my time in private practice. Together we will find ways that will be the most supportive of your child and your family to make feeding less stressful.

Feeding kids is tough work – as I mom, I understand! Although I am a pediatric dietitian, I am not immune to the picky eating frustration. I have two boys who are very different eaters – even though they are growing up in the same eating environment and exposed to the same foods. One is adventurous and eager to try new foods, while the other is cautious and takes his time – and that is okay. I am here to help them explore all food, to gain confidence in their choices, and to develop a positive relationship with food.
My education started with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at Acadia University. Upon graduation I completed a Master of Science in Applied Human Nutrition at Mount Saint Vincent University with an integrated dietetic internship education program. As a regulated health professional and member of the College of Dietitians of Alberta since 2013, I am continually learning as the nutrition research grows. Before focusing on pediatric and family nutrition, I practiced in the areas of chronic disease prevention and healthy weight loss.
My passion in pediatric nutrition is in picky eating and adolescent nutrition (although I love the joy of starting solids). What I love most about counselling nutrition is supporting busy parents (and kids) in their feeding goals - whether they are reducing stress at mealtimes, helping to expand food variety, or discovering how to support a healthy long-term relationship with food.
When not working or driving my minivan all around town I can be found building LEGO towers with my kids, going on family adventures or pouring another coffee!

I am so excited to join Centred Nutrition Collective. I am a Registered Dietitian serving the Alberta & Saskatchewan and have more than a decade of experience as an anti-diet community dietitian and diabetes educator. I have extensive experience with diabetes management, women’s health, pediatric nutrition, heart health, gastrointestinal conditions, disordered eating, eating disorders, failure to thrive, nutrition optimization, pre/post-bariatric surgery, building healthy habits and more. I have spent my career working in the community in both a one-on-one and group capacity.
I choose a career that puts me in the business of eating! It’s a good thing because my favorite topic is the joy of food and I love inspiring people to come along for the ride. I have more than a decade of experience helping clients manage their diet-related conditions, eat well and build a positive relationship with body and food. I am passionately aligned with the intuitive eating and HAES (Health at Every Size) principles and believe it’s my life’s work to empower people through this lens. I lead with relatability, humor and leave judgement at the door. We are all in this together!
Some career highlights include public speaking for various organizations on a range of topics, developing impactful nutrition programs for my community and creating recipes and other resource material to meet personalized needs.
Now a little more about me outside of nutrition! I coach, play and watch my kiddos partake in sports including hockey, acro and softball. We also enjoy cheering on our local sports teams (some family members only come for the popcorn). My loves include biking, trash TV, piping hot coffee in the morning, time spent with friends, all the cheese, skiing, walks in nature, reading and yard work (kidding about that last one). But above all else, quality time with my family is my number one priority.
I am incredibly excited to be joining the CNC team and can’t wait to get started!
